Do you like to make art? Are you looking for a creative outlet? Have you followed the Art Lab for awhile and dreamed for the chance to join us? Your chance is here! We currently have two spots open.
Requirements:
- You must have a personal blog, where you post about art-related topics rather often. (It can not be a private blog)
- You have a personal email, where we can easily contact you.
- You must have a hobby of doing art.
- You must be at least 12 years old. (Please don’t apply if you are under. We are not discriminating based on age but as most under this age don’t have enough maturity to fulfill commitments, such as posting and checking the schedule regularly, we are limiting applicants to 12 and older).
How to apply:
- Make sure you fulfill ALL the requirements.
- Fill out the form in this page.
- Send three to five high-quality photos (which you have taken) of your artwork to theartlabblog@gmail.com.
- Wait for our email.
Deadline to submit is September 1. We will announce the new members soon afterward.

This is great! I’m with Tess, unfortunately. I’ve thought before that it would be so fun to join, but I’m not sure how well I could stay on top of it. I’ll think about it though 😉 .
However, for the blog requirement, I do have a blog, but it’s a doll-related blog. I’ve posted crafts before, but I don’t think I’ve really posted art (though I could!). Would my current blog be ok, or does it not fulfill the requirement?

I’ve been following ya’ll for some time now, and there’s been some posts that I’ve taken inspiration from! 😀 I’d love to join, just two things. . .
First, I do a slightly different art than ya’ll. I’ve noticed you all do a lot of handicraft and watercolour, wheras I veer more towards painting and inking. Tutorials on those would vary a bit compared to the current postings.
Second, I don’t have an Art Blog, but I have an Art Website! Does that work? I meet all the other requirements. 😉

I suggest you fill out the form and send us photos. The whole point of having an art blog as a requirement is that the applicant has experience in giving a tutorial. Give us the link to your art website in the blog URL spot.
